Kelly and Fraser got to watch the kids while the girls went out for an afternoon of fun. As you can see in the video, sometimes Daddy lets the kids do things that Mommy would have put a stop to :)

Next Sistine Chapel
One of my very most favorite things about being a mother, next to the ability to locate and eradicate random boogers that appear in the oddest locations and the phrase "stop putting peas in your ears", are the wonderful projects that get sent home from school, and arts and crafts Sunday.

Foot art.

Family art.

Valentine's art.

Christmas art. All in all, art for the masses.

Blessed Sunshine
Winter Fun

There has been a serious shortage of good snow this year, which for the most part, I haven't been too broken hearted about. It was nice to see the fluffy white stuff for a change, so we took advantage of the sun and fun and played.

Considering we've had no snow, this was really Bridger's first time playing in it. He was completely unaffected.

Chillin' with pops.

Dad teaching son how to throw ice balls at mom. Good times.
The Big 0-1

And so it is, my little son is all growed up. Seems I can recall with ease, the day he threatened to make his appearance while I was at work...which some 31 hours later, turned out to be the happiest day of my life. Amazing how helpless tiny fingers and toes turn into curious fingers attached to loads of personality. There were times I wondered if he would make it to 1. Seriously...this parenting thing is hard work. Bridger is the light of our home and we love him so much! Happy birthday baby boy!! Thanks everyone for coming over and helping Bridger celebrate his big day.
In prep...

For birthday festivities, I made Bridger a race car cake comprised of chocolate cupcakes and other ooey gooey goodies. I also finished his tent, but note that the structure has been reinforced by someone with better engineering foresight than myself. Thus, the sides no longer sag. I also bought him a new/old toy box (not pictured here) which he very much enjoys scuffing the walls with and slamming his fingers in.
