Backpacking at Last

It's been years since we've done a proper backpacking trip. This weekend, we hit the trail with Sheryl and Jeff for some much needed camping R&R. We hiked into Ibantik for the first night and then to Notch Lake for round two. Saturday was bone chillingly cold and a bit drizzly, but we ended on a sunny beautiful note. Overall, we were somewhere between 3 and 6 fish ahead and 10 miles more sore than we were before. Soooo nice. Will do again soon.
