Christmas is for Children...??

It's 9:30 in the A.M. and everyone in the house, but myself is already tuckered out. My work here is done. You've already seen Kelly's big ticket Christmas wish, but mine this year came in the form of a musical instrument for which I have been pining for several years/recent months. Twenty minutes later, with the assistance of a seemingly older, fatter version of Vince Neil, I can now play 3 chords that [supposedly] resemble those of "Born to be Wild." Expect in 2010....A STAR to be born...

Finally A Harley

Here is a better picture of the bike. We got it home yesterday!! I started it up a couple of times and probably ticked off the neighbors with the loud pipes. I just need a little more sun to make dry roads and we can cruise around a little bit.

Harley Davidson Softail Deuce for Kelly. So Jamie has been suggesting that I follow one of my dreams of owning a Harley Davidson motorcycle. I have been looking for quite a while at bikes and I recently found a couple that I wanted to take a look at. The prices have been coming down quite a bit, so we decided it was time to pull the trigger. Jamie says this is my Christmas present for the next ten years, but I don't believe her. I am very lucky to have a wife that supports my crazy ideas and lets me follow my dreams. I can't wait until some of the snow melts so we can drive it around properly. We got this awesome bike from Timpanogos Harley. I can't believe the day has finally come that I can actually own a Harley rather than just wear Harley T shirts all the time. The bike will be delivered on Tuesday at which time we can take some better pictures of it. Thanks Jamie, I love you a lot!!

Put Yer Game Face On

We got to Qualcomm Stadium good and early to join the sea of tailgaters. The game was all kinds of exciting and fun and of course the Chargers stole the show at 43 to 14 with a little help from my friends L.T., Rivers, and Sproles. Yay Chargers!

Chargers Block Party

Spent a some time in the Gaslamp Quarter celebrating the inevitable Chargers victory at Dicks. There was good music, good food and really emphatic and friendly table neighbors. Nope, couldn't be bothered to get rid of the red eye problem.

Excessive PDA?

This was interesting. And big.

Maritime Education

We also visited these places. San Diego Maritime Museum and the USS Midway. I'm fairly certain I could learn to navigate a small city in and out of the harbor.

A Day in the Park

We also went to this place. Balboa Park. We enjoyed the sites and museums while we sipped our $7 tea from the Japanese frie
n
dship garden.

Land of the Happy Porpoise

We also did this. Otherwise known as Sea World.

Thanksgiving in Sunny Califor-ni-a

Because I'm such the good little wiffey that I am, I bought Kelly [and myself] tickets to the Chargers v. Chiefs game in San Diego over Thanksgiving. So, while the rest of you were freezing your carc-asses off, we were enjoying plenty of sunshine and fun.

We spent Thanksgiving day at Knotts Berry Farm then strolled over to Adam and Nikki's house to eat their Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks A&N for for the deelightful pie and good time!
