I have been yearning, PINING even, to see Pat Benatar in concert...pretty much since I was old enough to belt "Love is a Battlefield" into my hairbrush in front of my full length mirror, littered with photos of Debbie Gibson and Belinda Carlisle. At long last, she came to the Peppermill Concert Hall and it was, of course, completely sold out. Long story short, I HAD to have tickets. Had tickets. They were sold from under me. Drove to Bendover. Schmoozed the right peeps and got VIP tix. I can die happy now. :)

Just Cause
B loves his cousins sooo much!! They're so good to entertain him for hours and he lives to torment them. Please overlook the fact that we still have a Christmas tree set up in the basement.
Like Vitamin D for the Soul
March, the end of a long, frigidly cold winter, we found ourselves in need of sunshine and a mini vacay. We packed up the fam and made a road trip to St. George. We stayed at the Entrada in a gorgeous two bedroom with amazing vistas right off an expertly groomed green. The Ledges, where we ended up golfing, was re-seeding and was crunchy and dry. It was still a great time. We made a little detour to the natural history museum, which Bridger luuurved and hiked up Snow Canyon to the three ponds, which looked more like three puddles of mud. It was a great trip and rejuvenated the mind and bod.
