Thanks to a rainy start to the Memorial Day weekend, we went in search of indoor recreation. This is my new favorite child friendly haven. The Treehouse Children's Museum on 22nd street in Ogden.
After a full day exploring Mexican villages, playing giant chess, seeking refuge in a Mongolian ger, communing with sea life, milking cows, taming bucking broncos, being king Arthur, climbing tree houses, being president, coloring on ourselves with markers and SO much more, we all came home and passed out for several hours. Wheeeew, what a day. This place is an amazing distraction for kids. If you haven't been here, you MUST go. You won't be sorry that you did.

Mama's Day
I woke up Sunday to find that my sweet husband had forsaken his Sunday morning sleepfest and made me a scrumptious breakfast that included: homemade waffles, hash browns, thick cut bacon, coffee and oj. He and Bridger bought me a lovely necklace, flowers for my abandoned plant stand and my most favorite goodies. My favorite detail about this day, was getting to spend it with my two best guys. I love, love LOVE being a mom. It's the most challenging job I've ever had, but has yielded the most reward thus far. Thanks to my two monkeys for making moms day so nice.
Bridger's entourage
Since the beginning of time (about a year and a half) Bridger has been has been much entertained by his faithful associates, Alaina and Taylee. Better still, their strong sense of responsibility means I can rely on them to wrangle him back when he's off finding trouble. This is most advantageous.
Mama's little helper
Does my heart proud to see my little guy so enthusiastic about helping. He loves to dust and polish furniture with me and apparently has an affinity for mopping. Such a good boy!
Lil' Golfer
Bridger is getting ready to start golfing. He had to borrow his cousins' golf clubs, but it looks like we'll have to get him some of his own soon!
