Oh Sushi...

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee whether thou art cold or warm.
When from obscurity, roundish shapes doth form.
Unagi, seaweed, crunchy egg balls and rice;
Thou makest mine palate feel sooo nice.
I love thee sushi, indeed I do;
Thou art heaven on earth and good through and through.
Thanks Shawn and Annie for teaching us the fine and much cheaper art of making our own sushi.

For Valentines...

Kelly and I went to see Royal Bliss at the Green Pig downtown. It was a packed show and was great fun. By the end of the night [morning] we had both acquired a cache of Mardi Gras beads, flashy buttons, and a gaggle of new friends. (See head gazing over Kelly's shoulder.) This is Tarry...yes...Tarry. Literally defined in this circumstance as, to remain or stay temporarily. Tarry and friends were indeed entertaining. Good show.

Ridin'

Today marks the first
official ride of the season. Well, for me anyway. Kelly's been riding around a bit by himself, but I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of my helmet, which in this picture, is not on all the way. But under those mooshed up cheeks is the biggest cheesiest grin ever. Why? Because winter is almost over and there are nothing but blue skies in the near future. Next stop...Sturgis.

A "Favre" Cry from the Super Bowl

Five turnovers
Overtime
One bull crap pass interception call
One bull crap completion call
15+ sacks
One REALLY old man....
It is a sad SAD day for female football fans all over the world. Old man Favre, in spite of his mad skills and amazing capacity for recovery, should have strapped on a Bengay patch before the 3rd quarter and pulled one out for the greater good of all. Rather, it will be the Colts v. Saints for the Super Bowl.
Chin up old girl, we will turn the other cheek and cheer for New Orleans in the Super Bowl, if for no other reason than to see Peyton Manning kiss his own derriere!
Fare thee well Favre, for you shall likely be in your grave or retired [again] before next season.
There's six months of my life I'll never get back...

And God Said...

"Mmm...it is good. AND go Chargers!"

Seriously, this is one of the best seven layer dips ever made.

Seriously, this is one of the best seven layer dips ever made.
Unfortunately, all the seven layer dip in the world does little to soothe the wounds of a game horribly lost.
Chargers lost momentum in the first half, after numerous suspiciously orchestrated penalties were called against them. After which, Kaeting's lack of foot-eye coordination cost the Chargers the lead in the second half. After which, a poorly planned on-side kick was lost. Thankfully I, (not Kelly) am a fair weather fan and will still be delighted when I see good 'ol Favre represent in the Super Bowl in a couple weeks.

As for the Chargers, I can only think to quote a wise, wise soul when I say "What in the HELL was THAT all about?!"
