Six Flags

Oh ya, we also spent a whole day in Six Flags, which was every bit as fun as promised... Minus the standing in line for an hour and a half thing. Oh and the alleged chili dog I ate for lunch which did not seem to agree with me later.

Santa Monica

After a scintillating day in Hollywood, we decided to stroll the Santa Monica Pier before meeting up with buddies Adam and Nikki & kids for dinner. Didn't get new pix of them though. I broke the camera several times that day. Sorry guys and thanks for dinner, we can't wait to see you and the (not so small) kiddies this summer!

Walk of Shamelessness

Among the many other diversions the vard has to offer, was Madame Tussauds. Overpriced as they are, I've always wanted to visit one of these museums of the Hollywood greats made into wax.

Uhhhm, this fine bit of shameless posing brought to you by my dearest husband. I distinctly remember telling him to do something "mildly obscene". It is clear to me now that we have a very different opinion as to what publicly acceptable obscenity means. Also, hon...Raquel Welch is like 70 something years old.

Hollywouldbe

We decided to take the "day" and visit Hollywood Boulevard. Diversions included, it probably took us an hour and a half to visit Hollywood. It reminds me a lot of Vegas and its a little disheartening, in that, the road side characters clearly make more money than I do.
My favorite diversion was probably Grauman's Chinese Theater, where anyone who is anyone is immortalized in cement.

The Great California Adventure

After 8 glorious weeks with the babe, I am returning to work Monday. (Ucch) Kelly's parents were just DYING to take Bridger for a few days and suggested that we have a sort of mini vaca before I go back. Off to California we went. Our California adventure began the day after the horrible earthquake in Japan. We joined the throngs of people lining the streets in Redondo Beach to watch the tsunami roll in and wreak havoc. This is it. Uhhhmazing, right? Is it wrong that I was disappointed that it wasn't worse?

All This Time

I love to be at home with Bridger, however temporary. I'm home A LOT. Doing what is surely my new favorite thing...hovering over him with the camera chronicling his every change and waiting for him to do something interesting. Which is not all that often. These moments are the pinnacle of my day. Like this...bath time. He lurrrves bath time.
Getting dressed after bath time. He haaates getting dressed after bath time, or for any reason.

Sleeeeepy time. I love to catch the brief glimpses of him grinning and cooing in his sleep. I'm sure it means nothing, but I like to think it means that he's generally happy. At very least, well fed.

Da boys enjoying a lazy, sleepy Sunday afternoon.
