Gone Fishin'

Backpacking was thwarted again this Labor Day weekend with the threat of rain. Instead, we went fishing at Echo. Kelly caught the fish of the day and the dogs enjoyed foraging for remaining hamburger pieces.

Freddie the Fish

So, it's the last 15 minutes of work and I'm playing with the settings on my phone. I notice that you can take pictures in negative format. Faaabulous. There were no willing participants in my little picture experiment, but Freddie the Beta fish, who lives in an aquatic wonderland on my desk, was more than happy to pose for his cameo. I thought the pictures were quite artsy fartsy and interesting. Freddie hopes that you quite enjoy the pix of his good side.

Baby Eleanor

Little baby Ellie was born August 27th at 9:47 p.m. Weighing in at a whopping 7 pounds 8 ounces. Look at all her hair! Congrats Leslie and Fraser, you sure know how to make 'em! Mom and dad are going to be in trouble in a few years.

Aren't They Preeeteey?

This is what happens when you fall asleep on the couch with little tosies unsupervised. I happen to think they're quite becoming. Hmmm...falling asleep on the couch. What are we, like 90?

Project Complete

I forgot...I finally finished the baby blanket I was working on for my cute pregos friend Leslie. She's having a little girl whose life with be void of pink nonsense. I was lucky that green turned out to be the color they painted the nursery. Not trying to toot my own horn, just happy that I uncharacteristically followed through with something.

Forgotten Activities

Been keeping pretty busy this summer. It's hard to keep up with everything, so I'll just randomly post about things without much explanation. My favorite is Alaina's poopy face on the tube. Hmmm...where have I seen that face before?
